Introduction

Tariff Profiles can be used to manage tariffs across a wide population of EVSE devices and to specify special discount conditions. The discount is applied to MSP tokens of a specific card issuer (this is set in the Tariff Profile).

Who can use this functionality?

Tariff Profiles are available in the Provider context (Private Label Customers), or Customers that use Advanced organisation management.

How to create a tariff profile with discount?

  1. Go to /charging-stations/tariff-profiles

  2. Click on “Create Tariff Profile”

  3. Name the Tariff Profile

  4. Set a base tariff. This will be billed to all other tokens.

  5. Check the box “Enable custom tariffs for certain card issuers”

  6. Enter the issuer name

  7. Set the rate you want to bill to this card issuer

  8. Done! > Next: add the tariff profile to the charge station

How to use Tariff Profiles for CREG (Belgium)

In Belgium, specific charge rates can be used for home reimbursement, which are set per quarter. To simplify this process for Belgian customers, you can use the Tariff Profile functionality to set CREG tariffs and update them each quarter. Check here the current CREG-tariffs.

  1. Go to /charging-stations/tariff-profiles

  2. Click on “Create Tariff Profile”

  3. Name the Tariff Profile

  4. Set as base tariff the CREG tariff.

  5. Done! > Next: add the tariff profile to the charge station

  6. Update this tariff per quarter.

OPTIONAL

  • If you want to let the charge point owner change the base tariff, then you have to check this box. The owner of the charge point has the ability to change the price setting on the charge station.
