Road Manual: Sungrow AC22E

Configuration Requirements

  • EVSE ID, configuration manual for the installer and registration manual for the owner of the charging station

  • User Manual Sungrow AC22E-01

  • iEnergyCharge App

  • Configuration device: mobile phone

  • UTP cable

Follow the steps

Step 1: Scan the QR code below, and download the iEnergyCharge App by following the onscreen instructions.

Step 2: Open the app and tap Add device on the Home screen.

Step 3: Scan the QR code on the side of the charger and tap Establish Connection.

Step 4: Go to WLAN settings on your mobile device, and connect to the charger's WLAN.

Step 5: Once connected successfully, go back to the App and enter the username and password:

  • Username: admin

  • Password: pw8888

Step 6: Select OCPP as the charging mode and enter the following server address:

  • When using a white Road sim card or another connection method ws://ocpp.road.io/<provider-slug>

  • When using a purple Road sim card ws://ocpp-internal.road.io/<provider-slug>

Step 7: Connect the charger to a stable WLAN network.

Step 8: After network connection is established successfully, tap add device and tap complete to finalize the commissioning process.

The charging station is now connected to the Road platform!
