Road Manual: EV Charging+

On this page you will find the steps to connect the EV Charging+ charger to the Road back office platform.

Configuration Requirements

  • Road Sim card (optional), EVSE ID and configuration manual for the installer and owner.

  • Atlas AC Commercial configuration app.

  • Configuration device: mobile phone.

Follow the steps:

Step 1: App installation

  • Android:
    Download the Atlas commercial charger network configuration app by scanning the QR-code on the right or clicking on the link.

  • iPhone:
    First, you will need to get the UDID of your device, send it to EV Charging + (EVCCE) and they, in return, will send you the link to install the app.

Step 2: Log in
Open the app and log in using these credentials:

  • Account: maintenance

  • Password: 123654

Step 3: Select your charger

Turn Bluetooth on and click on START SCANNING to search for chargers. Select your charger and click on the CONNECT icon. Here you will need to enter an authorization code: “123456”.

Step 4. Network configuration
There are three optional network settings:

  • Ethernet.

  • Mobile (if the charger has a 4G module).

  • Wireless network as network connections.

Note that if you choose WiFi, you must turn to WLAN settings to enter the name and password of it. Remember to check the IP address when you connect via Ethernet. You should set the IP address manually if it doesn’t match.

Step 5: Enter the OCPP settings

Go to SETTINGS, then click on the Network icon. After that click on Server and choose Custom. Enter the following information:

Reboot the charger to finalize all the changes.

Note: When using a purple Road SIM card the APN name should be changed to: road.io. When using the white Road SIM card or another SIM card the APN name should be m2m.services

The charging station is now connected to the Road platform!
