Configuration Requirements
Road Sim card (optional), EVSE ID, configuration manual for the installer and registration manual for the owner of the charging station
Laptop or mobile phone.
Follow the steps:
Step 1: In order to connect to the WiFi hotspot of Lumina, use a computer or telephone to
scan the available WiFi networks. The broadcast network is named “Enelion-XXXX-
XXXX” where XXXX-XXXX stands for the serial number of the Enelion Lumina
charger. The password to the network is on the box and on the head of the charger.
Selecting this network and filling in the password will connect to the device.
Step 2: After connecting to the device’s network, it is possible to access the configuration
panel via a web browser. Enter the address http://192.168.8.8 in the address bar and
log in.
Step 3: To change the OCPP setting you have to log in as an administrator. Username is
admin and the default password is admin.
Step 4: Make sure that the Enelion Lumina has an Internet connection. Check that in the Network - Overview section.
Step 5: In the OCPP section in the Connection subpage you will find the option that will connect the charger to the Road OCPP server.
Fill in the following details:
Number of connectors: The amount of sockets the charging stations has
Freecharge idTag: *leave empty*
OCPP URL:
When using a white Road SIM card or another connection method:
ws://ocpp.road.io/<provider-slug>When using a purple Road SIM card:
ws://ocpp-internal.road.io/<provider-slug>
Chargepoint ID: Serialnumber of the charger
Note:
When using a purple Road SIM card the APN name should be changed to: road.io. When using the white Road SIM card or another SIM card the APN name should be m2m.services
Step 6: Reboot the charger and check the Connection state under status. If the Connection state is Connected you can proceed to step 7
