Follow the steps:
Step 1: Insert the simcard as shown in the image below.
Step 2: Connect the USB-C cable to the charging controller on the USB port.
Step 3: Download the RNDIS driver for your computer. The driver can be found at http://catalog.update.microsoft.com
Step 4: Look for the USB / RNDIS if the USB is connected to the USB-C on the charging controller:
Step 5: Set the IP address:
Step 6: In the internet browser, go to IP address: 192.168.5.1 to connect to the controller.
Step 7: Log in to the controller: (top right)
Step 8: You can log in with the following users:
Step 9: Go to the OCPP settings to set up the Road connection.
Step 10: Enter the backend URL and the ID of Road, the network Interface for a GSM connection should be set to Cellular Network. The backend URL should be
When using a white Road SIM card or another connection method:
ws://ocpp.road.io/*provider-slug*/*SerialNumberChargePoint*When using a purple Road SIM card:

Please fill in the serial number of the charge point after the “/”.
Note:
When using a purple Road SIM card the APN name should be changed to: road.io. When using the white Road SIM card or another SIM card the APN name should be m2m.services
Step 11: Get the modem settings right.

Step 14: Reboot the charging controller after all settings and steps have been performed.
When the controller is online after the reboot, the LINK LED on the front will be permanently on, APP will flash red while connecting to Road until it is fully online.
