Follow the steps:
Step 1: Insert the SIM card you received into the SIM slot of the controller (see picture below)
Step 2: Connect the laptop to the charger with a micro-USB data cable via the still free port on the front of the controller.
Step 3: Open a web browser and enter the following IP address in the URL bar: http://192.168.123.123:81
Step 4: A login window will appear. Login with the username operator. The password is yellow_zone. We recommend changing this password!
Change the language setting at the top right of the browser by selecting the preferred language.
Step 5: Click on network and enter the following information under Access Point Name (APN):
Road:
When using a white Road SIM card or another connection method: m2m.services
When using a purple Road SIM card: road.io
All other data will be filled in automatically and you can leave it as is.
Step 6: Click on save
Step 7: Click on backend and enter the following data:
Connection type = GSM
Step 8: Change the OCPP ChargeBoxIdentity to the EVSE-id provided by Road
This is the number under the QR code (f.e. NL*EFL*EV*7378707), you need to copy this number in full.
Step 9: Change the Websock-SET JSON OCPP URL of the backend to:
Road:
When using a white Road SIM card or another connection method: ws://ocpp.road.io/<provider-slug>
When using a purple Road SIM card: ws://ocpp-internal.road.io/<provider-slug>
Leave the rest of the settings as they are.
Step 10: Click save and reboot.
