EVSE Controller

A charging station connected to our platform creates an EVSE Connector. An EVSE Controller is used to control the charging station by using OCPP. From an EVSE controller we can change the settings of a charger, reset the charging point and update the firmware. The customer is able to control the access and the rates for charging.

Token

A token is an RFID card or a tag and consists of an RFID chip code (UID) and a visual number.

UID: 04BAD742BB6B80

Visual ID: NL-EFL-C65838291-X

The UID is used by the charging station to identify the user and ask our platform for permission to start a charging session. The UID is linked to the Visual ID which is easier to read and more understandable. The visual ID is being used by our platform to regocnize and separate charging sessions from each other.
