Follow the steps
Step 1: Download the X Smart app from the Google Play Store or the Apple Store.
Step 2: Create an account in the X Smart app by clicking on Click to register.
Step 3: Login with your newly created account and click on Add Device.
Note: Ensure that the device can reliably connect to the router network and that the signal is stable.
Step 4: Click on the blue device that’s shown under Nearby device.
Step 5: Select the right network method (WiFi, 4G Network or Ethernet) in the menu Link Network and configure the settings to connect the device to the network.
Step 6: Click on Choose another protocol at the bottom of the screen and click on New configuration to add the Road backoffice settings.
Step 7: Enter the following values in the New configuration menu:
Protocol version: ocpp1.6
Protocol head: ws://
Protocol vendor: Road
Socket Url: ws://ocpp.road.io/{provider-slug}/{deviceId}
Note: The {deviceId} at the end of the URL is automatically replaced by the serial number of the device when connecting to the backoffice, so you don't need to enter the serial number at the end of the URL.
Step 8: Press Confirm after entering the right network and protocol settings. The device will now be trying to connect to the network and the Road server.
