Configuration Requirements

  • EVSE ID, configuration manual for the installer and registration manual for the owner of the charging station

  • Installation guide Zaptec

  • Configuration device: laptop

Follow the steps:

Step 1: Go to the Zaptec portal: https://portal.zaptec.com/

Step 2: Login with your login details (same as for the Zaptec app).

Step 3: Go to Installations and select your installation.

Step 4: After that click on Settings and choose the tab Authentication.

Step 5: Enable the OCPP-J 1.6 authentication.

Step 6: Fill in the E-Flux by Road backoffice URL: ws://ocpp.road.io/{provider-slug}/{deviceId}

Note: The {deviceId} at the end of the URL will automatically be replaced with the charger’s device Id (serial no.) when connecting to the backoffice, so you don’t have to fill in the serial number at the end of the URL.

Step 7: Save the changes and reboot the charger. You do not have to fill in a password to connect the charger to the E-Flux by Road backend. Once the charger has been rebooted, it should be connected to the E-Flux by Road backend.

The charging station is now connected to the Road platform!
