Configuration Requirements

  • EVSE ID, configuration manual for the installer and registration manual for the owner of the charging station

  • NRG Kick app

  • Mobile phone

Follow the steps

Step 1: Plug the NRGkick cable into a socket to turn it on.

Step 2: Download the NRGkick app from the App Store or the Google Play Store.

Step 3: Connect the NRGkick to your app by activating Bluetooth on your mobile phone and entering the access code of the cable. The access code consists of the last seven digits of the serial number, which can be found on the back of your NRGkick.

Step 4: Create an NRGkick Cloud account in the app to get access to settings of the cable.

Step 5: Go to the Extended menu and click on Charging Network.

Step 6: Select Custom.

Step 7: Fill in the Road connection URL: ws://ocpp.road.io/<provider-slug>

Step 8: Enter the unique serial number of your NRGkick or an EVSE-ID (NL*EFL*EV*XXXXXXX) as the Chargepoint Identifier.

Step 9: Fill in the User Tag Identifier. This is the UID code of the charging card that will be used to reimburse charging costs.

Note: You can contact Road to request the UID / RFID code of the chargecard. The UID code should look like this: 04FF3XXXXX6580.

Step 10: Activate the Configuration active slider and save the settings.

The charging station is now connected to the Road platform!
