Follow the steps
Step 1: Connect the GONEO smart cable into the domestic power outlet.
Step 2: Press and hold immediately the button for 3 seconds to activate the AccessPoint mode.
Step 3: Scan the first QR code on the screen of the GONEO smart cable. The Wi-Fi parameters of your smartphone/tablet will appear, attempting to connect to the local Access Point [AP] of your GONEO smart cable. After the connection is established, the first QR code disappears, and the second QR code appears.
Step 4: Scan the second QR code. Once you’ve scanned this QR code, it will open your web browser and display the web app.
Step 5: Once you are connected to the web application, please select Service in the menu. Click on the three horizontal stripes to access the menu.
Step 6: Via the Service page, you can now configure the OCPP parameters:
Check if OCPP is activated. If not, please toggle it on.
Enter the server URL of the Charge Point Management System (CPMS)
When using a white Road sim card or another connection method ws://ocpp.road.io/<provider-slug>
When using a purple Road sim card ws://ocpp-internal.road.io/<provider-slug>
Enter the identifier of your device, use the unique serial number of your GONEO or an EVSE-ID
Enter the Tag ID, this is the UID code of the charging card that will be used to reimburse charging costs. You can contact Road to request the UID / RFID code of the charge card. The UID code should look like this: 04FF3XXXXX6580.
The Password is not required.
Step 7: Select Network in the menu. Via the Network page, you can now configure the SIM parameters:
Select SIM as the SIM type.
Enter the APN.:
When using a white Road SIM card or another connection method: m2m.services
When using a purple Road SIM card: road.io
Leave the other settings empty.
