Where to find it?

  1. Navigate to the "Configuration Presets" section under the "Charging Stations" menu.

  2. View the list of existing presets with details such as preset name, creation date, and creator.

Creating a new preset

  1. Click the 'New Preset' button.

    • Provide a descriptive name for the preset to ensure easy identification.

    • Define OCPP configuration:

      • Choose between Standard Configuration or Custom Configuration.

      • Add parameters as required and specify values for each.

    • Enable the auto-configuration override if the preset should override default settings that are applied when onboarding a charging station.

      • Running the auto-configuration of a charging station applies default system values to a predefined set of OCPP parameters (see predefined parameter here). To adjust these values or include additional parameters, use a Configuration Preset. Parameters defined in the Configuration Preset will override the defaults, while unspecified parameters will retain their system default values.

Provider specific configuration on Auto-configuration

If a preset is created and used for auto-configuration, this will be reflected in the auto-configuration modal as follows.

  • For the system default override, the validation messages show in the subsequent sections. e.g. if override value for MeterValueSampleInterval is 90, it will be reflected in Meter Configuration section.

  • For custom provider specific settings, this will be shown in The new Provider Specific Configuration section. It only shows discrepancies; if a value was set for a custom parameter, but the custom parameter was blank initially this won’t be reported.
