Road Manual: Iskraemeco UrbanBox

On this page you will find the steps to connect the Iskraemeco UrbanBox charger to the E-Flux by Road platform.

Configuration Requirements

  • Road Sim card (optional), EVSE ID, configuration manual for the installer and registration manual for the owner of the charging station

  • Installation Guide UrbanBox

  • Configuration device: laptop with Windows 11 installed

  • Ethernet cable

Follow the steps

Step 1: Connect the Ethernet cable to the switch that is underneath the controller.

Step 2: Select Network & Internet in your laptop settings menu and choose option Ethernet.

Step 3: Activate IPv4 and choose an IP Address in the range 192.168.2.200 to 192.168.2.220 (eg:192.168.2.200).

Step 4: Open the browser and insert the address: http://192.168.2.2:8080/index.html

Step 5: Select the menu Config and then the option Software Properties-RW.

Step 6: Look for the Isk.evse.Cfg.dl.uri parameter and click on it.

Step 7: Inside the Box Value write one of the following server URL’S:

  • When using a white Road sim card or another connection method ws://ocpp.road.io/<provider-slug>

  • When using a purple Road sim card ws://ocpp-internal.road.io/<provider-slug>

Step 8: Navigate back to the Home page and select Commands in the Status dropdown menu.

Step 9: Click on RESET SW to reboot the charger.

The charging station is now connected to the Road platform!
