Home reimbursement - Employee can set own tariff

What is it?

This feature allows employers to invite their employees to register a home charging station while giving the employee the flexibility to set their own electricity reimbursement rate. The employer defines a hard maximum price per kWh during the invitation process. Once invited, the employee can input their actual energy costs up to that predefined maximum limit.

Who is it for?

This is for employers or fleet managers who reimburse their staff for charging company EVs at home. It is also for the employees who need to accurately reflect their home utility rates for proper reimbursement.

Key Benefits:

  • Cost Control: Employers maintain strict control over reimbursement budgets by enforcing a maximum rate ceiling.

  • Flexibility & Fairness: Employees with cheaper energy contracts can accurately report their actual costs, preventing over-reimbursement while ensuring they aren't left out of pocket.

Customer verification

We’re rolling out a more secure sign-up experience, introducing mandatory email and phone verification for all new users, plus seamless bank verification via iDEAL (NL) and Bancontact (BE). These extra checks significantly reduce fraud risk, help apply smarter, flexible usage limits, and give customers confidence that their details are correct from day one.

CPO Session Export

We have rolled out Asynchronous Exports for CPO sessions downloads. We've moved the heavy lifting to the background to protect our infrastructure and made the UX better with some toast messages advising what is going on.

  1. The user initiates an export.

  2. A toast notification immediately confirms the export has started in the background.

  3. Once processed, a second prompt appears to let them know the file is ready.

  4. The download triggers automatically (with a fallback download link included right in the toast message, just in case).

Sandbox

What is it?

Our Sandbox v2 is new functionality that provides isolated, independent environments for testing, development, and demonstrations. Providers can create one or more sandboxes to test platform functionality, build and validate API integrations, or create demo environments — all without any impact on their live, production data. Next to using a charge simulator, you can even connect a real charger for your testing. Perfect for e.g. integration testing. Another great benefit is that all functionality available on production can be directly enabled on the sandbox as well. No longer dual development and deployment required.

The sandbox environment includes a closed, internal roaming network, allowing for end-to-end testing of CPO and MSP interactions. You can create (virtual) chargers, issue charge cards enabled for this sandbox roaming, and start sessions. The platform will then generate and deliver the resulting Charge Detail Records (CDRs) to the MSP, just as it would in production.

Each sandbox is a fully separate instance, complete with its own data, configuration, and unique login URL.

Who is it for?

  • Provider Admins: To safely test new features, train staff, or allow their developers to build and test API integrations.

  • Sales/Ops Employees: To create tailored demo environments for prospects or specialized testing environments for new hardware manufacturers.

  • Prospects & Manufacturers: To trial the platform's capabilities or perform integration tests with e.g. chargers and payment terminals in a secure, functional environment.

Key Benefits

  • Risk-Free Testing: Develop, test, and innovate without any risk to your live customers, chargers, or financial data.

  • Self-Service Management: Provider Admins can independently create, configure, and delete their own sandbox environments directly from their production account.

  • Flexible Data Options: Start with a Blank environment, use Preconfigured test data to get started quickly.

  • Full API & Developer Access: Each sandbox comes with its own API credentials, developer documentation, and a Charge Station Simulator, enabling robust integration testing.

  • Complete Isolation: Sandboxes are fundamentally separate from production. Data (like invoices or stations) will never sync with production systems (like NetSuite) or live roaming networks.

Splitting invoice lines for MSP (charge card) invoices and Reimbursement

We have improved the invoice format for Charge Card (MSP) usage and Reimbursements to provide better financial clarity. Previously, charging costs from the current month and "delayed sessions" (sessions from past months) were grouped together in one line, which often led to confusion.

What’s changing?

We are now splitting "Charging Costs" into separate line items by month. If an invoice includes sessions from a previous period, they will appear on a new line labeled: "Charging costs (MM/YYYY)".

By separating these costs, end customers will have a better understanding of the difference between current usage and delayed costs, reducing confusion over "inflated" bills and increasing trust in the invoice total.

Release Status: The change will be released in the invoices customers will receive in March for February.
