Updated features

Enhanced tariff calculation

We’ve improved how we calculate the cost of your charging sessions to make it even more accurate.

Until now, pricing was based on regular updates sent from the charge station to estimate the session duration. But this method could be affected by how often those updates were sent. With this updated feature, that’s no longer the case.

From now on, if your charging session spans different time-based tariffs, such as peak and off-peak hours during the day we automatically split the session into separate time blocks. Each block is matched with the correct tariff and calculated individually.

The result is a much more precise and reliable calculation of your charging costs.

Installer account filter

We’ve added a new isInstallerAccount flag to make it easier and safer to manage installer accounts.

From now on, you’ll only see installer accounts that are linked to your organization when assigning an installer during charger registration. This reduces the risk of selecting the wrong account and helps protect your data.

Good to know:
Some older installer accounts may not appear in the dropdown if they haven’t been linked to a charging station yet. If you’re missing an account, just contact Support and we’ll fix it for you.

New integrations

Charging stations

Iskreameco

Road now has a new integration with Iskraemeco, formerly known as G.L. In addition to their PublicBox and Litebox, an integration has been established with their GlowBox Platinum charger. The GlowBox Platinum is designed for both home and business charging.

Enphase

Road has recently launched a new integration with the IQ EV Charger, the latest addition to Enphase's energy system. This home charger is built for reliable performance in all weather conditions and is designed for everyday use. It’s available in multiple power levels to suit different needs.

Our collaboration with Enphase makes this integration especially meaningful. We were honored to be invited to their recent events in the Netherlands, where we discussed this solution and explored new opportunities together. Now, we’re proud to announce that the integration is fully operational.

Together, Road and Enphase offer a complete solution for the EV market, enabling installers to provide their customers with high-quality, future-ready charging options.

Payment terminals

G2 Mobility chargers

We're pleased to announce that Road has expanded its support for payment terminals, now including integrated terminals on G2 Mobility chargers. This means we can work with both the Ingenico Self2000 and Yoneo terminals on G2 Mobility chargers.
