  • Online installation & user guide THOR 11AS

  • Configuration device: laptop

  • UTP cable

Follow the steps

Step 1: After the installation of the charger is done, connect the charger to a computer via a network cable.

Step 2: Click on the Start Menu on your computer and navigate to the Control Panel.

Step 3: Click on Network and Internet and open the Properties of your current network.

Step 4: Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click on Properties.

Step 5: Enter the IP address, Subnet mask and Default gateway as shown in the picture below and click on OK.

Step 6: Open the web browser on your computer and type http://192.168.1.5:8080/ in the searchbar to get access to the parameter setting page of the charger.

Step 7: Change the Server URL of the charger to:

  • When using a white Road SIM card or another connection method: ws://ocpp.road.io/<provider-slug>

  • When using a purple Road SIM card: ws://ocpp-internal.road.io/<provider-slug>

Step 8: Click on Set and Reboot to save the changes made in the configuration. After the reboot the charger will try to connect to the Road backend, provided the network settings are configured accordingly.

Note: When using a purple Road SIM card the APN name should be changed to: road.io. When using the white Road SIM card or another SIM card the APN name should be m2m.services

The charging station is now connected to the Road platform!
