Road Manual: Hellonext H2 40-80

Configuration Requirements

  • Road Sim card (optional), EVSE ID, configuration manual for the installer and registration manual for the owner of the charging station

  • Configuration guide Hellonext

  • EVbee Service App

  • Configuration device: mobile phone

Follow the steps

Step 1: Download the EVbee Service App from the App store or Play Store and register your account.

Step 2: Open the app, select Create New Site, choose Commercial as the site type and fill in the site info.

Step 3: Enter the Main Fuse Data and the Circuit Data of the site.

Step 4: Add the charging station to the site by using one of the following methods:

  • Scan the QR code that’s located on the label of the charger.

  • Use the Bluetooth scanner in the app to find the charger.

  • Enter the Serial Number of the charger to add it to the site.

Step 5: Set up the Basic Settings by configuring the Max. charge power and the Time zone accordingly.

Step 6: Continue to the Network and backend settings, change the Mode to online and configure the following settings:

  • OCPP Backend:

    • When using a white Road sim card or another connection method ws://ocpp.road.io/<provider-slug>

    • When using a purple Road sim card ws://ocpp-internal.road.io/<provider-slug>

  • Charger ID: enter the serial number of the charger

Step 7: Select the preferred Communication Mode and configure the following APN if a Road SIM card is used:

  • When using a white Road SIM card or another connection method: m2m.services

  • When using a purple Road SIM card: road.io

Step 8: Press Done to complete the configuration process.

The charging station is now connected to the Road platform!
