Configuration Requirements

  • Road Sim card (optional), EVSE ID, configuration manual for the installer and registration manual for the owner of the charging station

  • Laptop

  • UTP cable

Step 1: Create an account on V2C Cloud

Create an account on the V2C Cloud platform, either from the app or via the web.

Step 2: Pair your e-Charger

Step 3: Access from the web platform

If accessing from the web portal www.v2c.cloud, select the OCPP section in the left-hand menu of the screen.

Step 4: the e-Chargers connected to the Internet via WiFi will appear, as OCPP only works on chargers with this connection. Click on the green pencil icon and configure the central station URL following the scheme shown below and the ID. Finally, check that the protocol has been activated in the OCPP box.

Step 5: You can add our url:

  • When using a white Road SIM card or another connection method: ws://ocpp.road.io/<provider-slug>

  • When using a purple Road SIM card: ws://ocpp-internal.road.io/<provider-slug>

click on save.

Note: Leave the charger's OCPP ID unchanged, as changing this number may cause interruptions in the communication with the backend.

Note:
When using a purple Road SIM card the APN name should be changed to: road.io. When using the white Road SIM card or another SIM card the APN name should be m2m.services

The charging station is now connected to the Road platform!
