Road Manual - Scame BE-T

Configuration Requirements

  • EVSE ID, configuration manual for the installer and registration manual for the owner of the charging station

  • Installation manual Scame BE-T

  • Configuration device: laptop, smartphone or tablet

  • Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi Hotspot

Follow the steps

Step 1: Use the Installation manual of the Scame BE-T to savely complete the installation of the charger.

Step 2: Connect the master station to your configuration device via ethernet or connect the station to a local network via Wi-Fi.

Step 3: Connect the RS485 serial line from the satellite stations to the master station (up to 16 charging points).

Step 4: Enter the following IP address in your web browser (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox,…): 192.168.30.126

Step 5: Login to the server by using the following credentials:

  • Username: admin

  • Password: gsroot

Step 6: Navigate to the Settings menu in the server to change the configuration of the station.

Step 7: Open the Network Setup menu and configure the right parameters to connect the station to the network. The control system will be connected to the IP-address entered in this menu.

Step 8: Select OCPP 1.6 JSON in the OCPP Type Selector menu.

Step 9: Open the OCPP 1.6 Setup menu and enter the following values:

  • OCPP Enabled: ‘Enable OCPP’

  • WebSocket SSL: ‘Disable WebSocket SSL’

  • Central Station IP Address: ws://ocpp.road.io

  • Central Station TCP Port: 80

  • Central Station Path: /<provider-slug>

  • Charge Box Identity: ‘Enter the unique serial number of the charging station’

  • SIM Card Serial Number (ICCID): ‘Leave empty’

  • SIM Card PIN (IMSI): ‘Leave empty’

Step 10: Click on Save and reboot the station.

The charging station is now connected to the Road platform!
