Configuration Requirements
Road Sim card (optional), EVSE ID, configuration manual for the installer and registration manual for the owner of the charging station.
Online installation & user guide Orbis.
Laptop or mobile phone.
Optional: e-Viaris mobile app .
Follow the steps:
Step 1: Turn on the Wi-Fi on the laptop and select the Orbis network (network name is the same as the serial number of the charger).
Step 2: Enter the factory password: 12345678 (It is recommended to change the password to a more secure password).
Step 3: Open a web browser and fill in the following IP address in the bar: “192.168.4.1”. You are now in the Web browser access.
Step 4: Go to Communications and change the URL to:
When using a white Road SIM card or another connection method: ws://ocpp.road.io/<provider-slug>/serialnumber
When using a purple Road SIM card: ws://ocpp-internal.road.io/<provider-slug>/serialnumber
Note: Please add the serial number of the charging station at the end of the URL, after the “/”.
Note: When using a purple Road SIM card the APN name should be changed to: road.io. When using the white Road SIM card or another SIM card the APN name should be m2m.services.
Step 5: Change port to 80 and Click on Overwrite.
