Configuration Requirements
Road Sim card (optional), EVSE ID, configuration manual for the installer and registration manual for the owner of the charging station.
Installation guide EVBOX TRONIQ Modular.
Follow the steps:
Step 1: When you purchase the EVBOX TRONIQ Modular and want to pair with Road, this will largely be taken care of by EVBOX.
Step 2: Provide EVBOX with the information below:
Name of the Backend: Road backend.
Backend OCPP connection URL:
When using a white Road SIM card or another connection method:
ws://ocpp.road.io/<provider-slug>When using a purple Road SIM card:
ws://ocpp-internal.road.io/<provider-slug>
Step 3: Indicate whether the internet connection is via SIM card or Ethernet.
In the case of a SIM card, provide the following information:
Please inform/confirm the SIM card is provided by backend supplier: yes.
PIN code of the SIM card if this can already be shared: leave empty.
APN of the SIM card:
When using a white Road SIM card or another connection method:
m2m.servicesWhen using a purple Road SIM card:
road.io
APN username/password if applicable: leave empty.
In the case of Ethernet connection:
Charger IP address: DHCP.
Network subnet mask.
Network Gateway IP address.
Network DNS IP address.
Step 4: Once EVBOX has confirmed the charger is connected to the Road platform you can advance to the next step.
